His competence, excellence, and commendable observe document have earned him numerous awards and recognition equivalent to: Gawad Parangal sa Natatanging Libraryan [Luzon], PLAI, 2018); Lifetime Achievement Award (PAARL, 2018); Lifetime Achievement Award (CaVRLC, 2017); Excellent Alumni Award (UST, 2011); Service Award for Exemplary Management and Cooperation from 2005 to 2010 (PLAI, 2011); Plaque of Recognition for 28 years of devoted service and in numerous positions to Saint Mary’s College (SMU, 2011); Eagle Award for Service Excellence (3 consecutive years as Service Excellence Awardee, SMU, 2009); Most Excellent Educational and Analysis Librarian in Luzon (PAARL, 2008); and tenth place, PRC Librarians Licensure Examination (PRC, 1998).
His management has been exemplified within the positions he held as the primary president of Cagayan Valley Area Librarians Council (CaVRLC); board of trustees of Philippine Librarians Affiliation, Inc. (PLAI); govt council member of the Nationwide Committee on Library and Data Providers (NCLIS) of the Nationwide Fee for Tradition and the Arts (NCCA); founding president of the Nueva Vizcaya Librarians Affiliation, Inc. for eight (8) years; president of Bambang Sunshine Challenge Group, Inc., a charity challenge for youngsters with disabilities (CWDs), are testomony to his relentless dedication to his group/s and excellent profession.
