Ruins of historic Taoist temple present in north China | The Global Today

SHIJIAZHUANG, Sept. 23 (Xinhua) — Archaeologists have discovered the ruins of a Taoist temple courting again to the Track Dynasty (960-1279) in north China’s Hebei Province, native authorities mentioned Saturday.

The invention was a results of a three-month excavation challenge in a village in Hebei’s Wuyi County, collectively launched by Hebei Provincial Institute of Cultural Relics and Archaeology and native cultural relic safety departments.

The ruins cowl an space of 400 sq. meters, and the findings included an earthen platform, a Taoist constructing, a water ditch, two water wells, seven ash pits and three stoves, mentioned Guo Jiqiao, a researcher on the institute.
