Tuesday, November 7, 11 AM: “Tips & Talk” on the Oakland FamilySearch Heart. This week: OFSC volunteer Denise Plaskett continues her “FamilySearch Abilities” classes, displaying guests the right way to use the FamilySearch web site. In the present day’s class focuses on file hints, attaching sources, and notes. A session on November 28 will cowl reminiscences, importing and tagging photographs, and including paperwork.
This course might be given within the laptop classroom and is proscribed to 14 hands-on college students, so drop-ins are welcome however registration through Eventbrite is inspired. Subjects might be coated on the tempo of the attendees. Free; held in individual on the Oakland FamilySearch Center.
Wednesday, November 8, 6:30 PM: Members’ Roundtable. A discussion board for asking questions on each other’s genealogical analysis, study from others, share analysis successes, and revel in a collegial group of people excited by studying collectively.
